Moral Conviction or Grandstanding? My Take On The Joe Kent Resignation

On this special segment of Off The Record, I address the sudden and controversial resignation of Joe Kent as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). While the mainstream and dissident right focus on Kent's criticisms of Israel and the ensuing FBI investigation, I also dive deeper into the overlooked history of terror assessments and the critical role Kent played in identifying active threats to the American homeland.

This episode is meant to challenge the narrative from both sides, questioning whether Kent’s resignation was an act of moral conviction or a calculated move for "the court of public opinion." This episode also highlights the alarming rise in domestic terror threats and the "rogue" political actors who may be compromising national security.

Hit Singles And Overcoming Music Industry Hurdles | Guest: Singer Natasha Owens

Natasha Owens is a patriotic powerhouse who started the trend of conservative anthems topping the pop charts, and recently has responded to Bruce Springsteen's new protest song, which criticizes federal immigration enforcement actions in Minneapolis, with a song of her own. Natasha's new song, The Boss, was released on February 6th, and the new single immediately debuted to number one on the iTunes rock chart, knocking Springsteen to number two, and landed at number two in the iTunes all genres chart ahead of Springsteen, and new singles from Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, T.I. and more. The new single is available on all platforms now.

Natasha Owens joins me again to talk about her recent singles and her the seventh studio album That's America which released on October 2025.

Elijah Schaffer & Sarah Stock: Another Cautionary Tale

I was not as familiar with Sarah Stock as I was of Elijah Schaffer. I always had my misgivings with the latter while assuming the former was out for clout.

This downfall is of epic proportions and many of your favorite "influencers" will be called into question of what they knew, when they knew it, and why they did nothing about it.

It's been 5 years since the Abbey Gate Bombings and the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Thirteen American service members were killed along with over 170 Afghan civilians. Instead of true accountability, Washington serves up political scapegoats and continues dealing with terror-linked actors.

I voted for America First, but I’m calling it out: we cannot demand justice for the fallen while leaving our allies behind and ignoring the real culprits.

In this article, I call out both the Biden and Trump Administrations for their failures in getting justice for the fallen. I also share the story from the Afghanis that lived through it and are currently fighting to get their country back.

An Honest Review of Foundation Daily, A Multi Vitamin Supplement

Disclosure: This is not an affiliated or sponsored post with Foundation or with Louder with Crowder, or any connection to anyone over at LWC. This is quite literally my honest take on this dietary supplement.

Okay, queue the typical, "I've tried things before, they didn't work, blah, blah, blah." So, I'm going to save you that and say I didn't care to try anything else because I never felt anything worked. But as time went on, when I started getting healthier in the later stages of my life, I started to adjust how I view daily supplements. I began incorporating things into my routine, but never gave them as much importance outside of my fitness and nutrition.

A daily multivitamin was never something that I considered taking because I thought I was supplementing enough whenever I was taking my amino acids and vitamin Cs.

So when Steven Crowder announced Foundation Daily, I thought, "What could it hurt?"

Full disclosure: I'm a member of LWC and have been for years. But I can think for myself, so I don't always go with what they're recommending. There are so many phonies in the vitamins and supplement industry, and often products go entirely untested and unverified.

To create Foundation Daily and associate it with the brand he’s worked so hard to build all these years is not without risk. It could backfire on Steven big time. That’s one of the main reasons I decided to try it.

Prologue

I should preface this next part by saying that over the past few years, I developed a health condition. It was a condition doctors weren't entirely sure how to diagnose or treat. While I was seeking treatment a few years ago, some prescription meds helped keep those symptoms at bay, so I stopped actively seeking treatment and just let the drugs do their thing. That was only for a season, and I assumed everything else after that would be manageable.

Earlier this year, however, the symptoms came back with a vengeance. I decided, "You know what? I can't delay this any further. I need to seek medical attention and get this resolved."

Once again, the doctors couldn't figure out the exact source. Multiple checkups and even the prescription drugs that helped before were not having much effect this time. There wasn't really any definitive diagnosis other than ruling out what it wasn't. The ultimate conclusion was that it wasn't cancer and not pre-cancer either – but we're still not sure what it actually is.

One thing that developed in between the years I sought treatment was high blood pressure leading to hypertension. I didn't know if that had anything to do with my other health issues, but I knew I needed to manage the various things piling up in my life as I get older.

Enter Foundation Daily

Normally, when you hear supplement companies pitch their products, they tell you to "try it for a month to see effects." So I decided to give it a two-month try. After the first month, I didn't feel much of a change. When two months went by, I decided to pause my subscription and cycle off it, so to speak. If it had any real benefits for me, I figured I should feel different after it was out of my bloodstream. That was the idea, anyway.

I didn't even last the entire month off of it.

Remember those health symptoms I was trying to manage? They all but went away during my time on Foundation Daily. A few days after I stopped taking Foundation Daily, my symptoms returned. Nothing else in my diet had changed. As soon as I reintroduced it back into my daily intake, those symptoms were managed once again.

Later, when I ran out of product and had to wait for a resupply, the symptoms showed up again. They were not as aggressive but definitely present. Once my resupply arrived and I went back on Foundation Daily, they stopped.

The only explanation I can think of involves the ingredients working on my hypertension. One of the main ingredients in Foundation Daily is garlic, which has been clinically shown to help control blood pressure. (For the record, I refused prescription meds for my blood pressure.) I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Foundation Daily has had actual, quantifiable benefits.

I’m going on nearly five months of use now, and it has had such a positive impact on my life. Of course, to each their own. Everyone is going to experience something different. As for me, Foundation Daily is a must-have.

Thank you to Steven Crowder and the team over at Foundation for this product. Even though the doctors still don't have a name for what's going on with my health, this Foundation Daily is helping me get by!

To Me, Social Media Platforms Are The New Chat Rooms Of Old

I'm personally across at least twenty social media platforms. I'm verified on most of them.

It used to be that you'd find everyone you're looking for on one platform, but that has not been the case for a long while now. In my experience, I found that Facebook users were more willing to experiment with other platforms even if they were not ready to pull the plug on Facebook.

Personally, I ditched Facebook and never looked back years ago.

I first landed on Parler on June 2020. The glory days of a new platform that threatened the Big Tech companies like Facebook and then Twitter. It was a fun place that made social media great again.

Then Google, Apple, and Amazon torched them.

Gab was the canary in the coal mine. Andrew Torba, formerly from Silicon Valley, knew he had to scale in a way to prevent Big Tech from shutting Gab down. Despite the strong headwinds against them from Big Tech and Foreign governments, Gab survived.

Both Gab and Parler were platforms Facebook and Twitter refugees called home. Once those places were affected, users once again were left scattered in the wind.

In the past decade and recent transformeration of X/Twitter, more platforms have popped up competiting for users time - and sometimes money.

As a content creator, I strive to be on as many places as possible. I highlight some of the major platforms because it's just not possible to give each one equal billing. So I've had to adapt. I use certain platforms for networking, others for socializing, and only a couple for personal updates. It's a balancing act I mastered for myself. What helped me juggle all this was to view these different platforms as the Chat Rooms of old.

Remember chat rooms? Those were interest-based gathering spaces organized by theme (gaming, music, dating), and served as a major social hub.

Social Media Platforms are today's chat rooms if you know how to leverage them (as a creator, that is).

MY TOP FIVE SOCIAL PLATFORMS

1 - Instagram is far and away my most active social account. It also happens to be my oldest. In my experience, Instagram users have been the most difficult to convince to try out other places. IG users just won't do it unless it's TikTok. So I have taken to provide unique content to keep followers engaged. It has also helped me build connections with people and talent that compliment my show.

2 - Parler is a complicated relationship. It's both the place of great memories and later great suffering. Sure, some of the bad experiences were the result of Big Tech, but others were self-inflicted (*ahem* George Farmer/Candace Owens). And yet, I've kept coming back. Perhaps because it's the platform that never got to experience it's true potential. Perhaps it's the people I've met there and have remained there through the ups and downs. Whatever the reason maybe, the "third times a charm" is possible this time around. From the PlayTV platform picking up the slack that YouTube and Rumble don't give me, to the Lounges feature that has replaced by Discord and Guilded forums. From it's own blockchain and infrasture, and creator features not found anywhere else, there's potential for sure. Unfortunately, one major thing riding against them is the media tarnished name: Parler. It's one of the reasons outside investors have issues with. And that's probably why I have a soft spot for Parler.

2 (TIE) - Pickax has become my second go-to platform right there with Parler in less than a year. It started off as a LinkedIn/Substack hybrid that then kicked into gear once the Rumble Gamer community made this place home. There's something refreshing about a platform that puts creators and people first while rewarding them for spending their time here. Pickax has become both a socializing and networking platform for me. I'm sure others have experienced the same. More importantly for Rumble-mostly creators, they finally have a place to build real community. Kudos to @JeffDornik and crew for the hardwork and shoutout to @Yossishow for introducing me to @Pickax !

4 - X/Twitter (that's a double entendre) is where all the news literally happens. It's also a cesspool so I thread lightly. I usually keep to staying up to date on current events while posting my own news content. I also engage and network there with Big Name talent because, well, they're not anywhere else.

5 - Gab is like Parler and X to me. It's a place I have a soft spot for because that's where I made my first real affiliate connections and friends that helped grow my show. But like X, it is a haven for trolls. Those same friends I made left the platform years ago. Some of the businesses left too. I remain there because I usually say, it's not a platform problem; It's a people problem. You'll find unsavory folk everywhere. It's just that a true free speech platform often encourages trolls to troll.

So that's how I do social media. And thanks to tools like IFTTT, I can automate cross posting of my content to many places.

What say you, fellow content creators? How do you social media?

Moral Conviction Or Grandstanding? My Take On Joe Kent's Resignation

I want to be clear from on the onset that I was livid at the news - and that was before I read Joe Kent's resignation letter. Though to me his resignation is nothing more than political grandstanding, that is not the purpose of this article. My intention is to provide nuance to the issue at large. Not contribute to the mudslinging between the Dissident Right and MAGA types.

The latest episode of Right Wing infighting drama involves the sudden resignation of Joe Kent as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).

As of this writing, Joe is scheduled to appear on the Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens podcasts. These shows that have become openly critical of the Trump Administration.

His resignation letter, his confirmed appearances on [controversial] podcasts, and the speculation of a book deal only give Joe's critics the firepower they need to discard him as another raging, anti-Israel actor.

Be that as it may, when emotions are high, as they usually are when dealing with anything online nowadays, reason and rationality go out the window.

To understand why Joe Kent’s appointment to the position of NCTC Director was celebrated by those in the intel and GWOT community, I have to explain the terror assessments that have largely gone unnoticed by both the Biden and current Trump Administrations.

This is Sarah Adams and Dave “Boon” Benton. Some of you might recognize Sarah from her appearances on The Shawn Ryan Show. (Shawn’s company has since platformed her own show The Watch Floor which I highly recommend you follow on Rumble and YouTube.) She was a CIA Targeter best known for tracking down terrorists while stationed in Benghazi, Libya.

Boon is best known for his heroics as one of the six GRS operators that defended the CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya during the September 11-12, 2012, terror attacks.

Boon and Sarah and I got acquainted in 2022 when they prepared to release their book Benghazi: Know Thy Enemy: A Cold Case Investigation. This was not another “Benghazi” book. It was a detailed case file on numerous attackers responsible for the deaths of four Americans at both the U.S. Special Missions Compound and the CIA Annex Station. The book contained the last known whereabouts of the attackers and known aliases. The hope was for responsible members in the intelligence community to not only be on the lookout for these terror suspects but also working with our allies in the region to bring them to justice.

The Biden Administration largely ignored imminent threat assessments Boon and Sarah were able to uncover. During one occasion when Sarah did not use the proper channels to pass on timely intel to targeted installations, the Pentagon reprimanded her for doing so instead of taking her intel seriously enough to look into.

As a Trump supporter, I had hopes that things would be different under new management.

Things did change but for the worse.

Sebastian Gorka briefly served as Deputy Assistant to the President and a strategist on national security and foreign policy during Trump’s first term in 2017. He was appointed to the role again in the new Administration and Senior Director for Counterterrorism on the White House National Security Council (NSC). Gorka has been accused of largely downplaying certain terror threats.

In Spring 2025, Sarah Adams had been given an appointment to brief members of the NSC on the terrorist plots against the Homeland. That briefing was canceled by Sebastian Gorka who went on to slander her character to people within the White House.

Well, the FBI deals with counterterrorism so there was some hope for a serious change when Kash Patel become director along with the new Deputy Director Dan Bongino. Nope. Instead, Patel's FBI opened an investigation to determine how Boon was getting his intel – instead of analyzing and reviewing the intel!

Is The New FBI The Same As The Old? - Watch On Locals.com

That same year, Sarah, along with a group of operators and investigators including Scott Mann published a book called The Gathering Storm. In it they address the critical gaps in our nation’s preparedness for emerging terror threats following the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. This includes awareness of Al-Qaeda’s plot against the Homeland.

Next to no one in positions of power and influence were aware of these reports or were writing them off as fearmongering alarmism.

Politically speaking, the Biden Administration, which was an extension of the Obama Administration, did not like any reports indicating Al-Qaeda was still around and growing in strength. Obama himself declared that Al-Qaeda was destroyed in 2012.

In similar fashion, the Trump Administration does not like reports indicating that ISIS is still around and also growing in strength though no where near as large as Al-Qaeda. If you’ll recall, Trump declared that ISIS was destroyed in 2018.

So what hope was there to help inform first responders and the public of awareness and preparedness to terror threats if both the Obama/Biden and Trump Administrations where not taking it seriously?

Enter Joe Kent, retired Green Beret combat veteran and Gold Star husband.

His confirmation as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center was celebrated by those in the intel space both active and retired. Joe Kent immediately took note of threat assessments Sarah Adams and Scott Mann detailed in The Gathering Storm. He made them actionable.

Joe Kent even testified before Congress about the 18,000 known Islamic Terrorists in our borders. All this while FBI Director Kash Patel and Director of Counterterrorism Sebastian Gorka either downplayed it or dismissed outright.

The role of Director of the National Counterterrorism Center is to integrate, analyze, and share terrorism-related intelligence; maintain the authoritative database of known and suspected terrorists; provide terrorism analysis; and drive whole-of-government action to counter terrorist threats against the United States. Joe Kent served as principal adviser to Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. (It is worth noting that Tulsi is not supportive of the current operation against Iran.)

Joe Kent’s resignation comes at the worst time.

Since March 1st, there have been four confirmed terror or attempted terror attacks on US soil:

  • March 1 – Austin, Texas bar shooting
  • March 7 – New York City attempted bombing
  • March 12 – Old Dominion University shooting, Norfolk, Virginia
  • March 12 – Temple Israel synagogue attack, West Bloomfield Township, Michigan

Sebestian Gorka serves as a principal advisor to the President and NSC leadership on counterterrorism matters, including threats, policy options, and response strategies. He's to coordinate interagency efforts across with the Department of Defense, State Department, DHS, FBI, CIA, ODNI/NCTC, and others to develop and implement counterterrorism policies. He’s someone that has proven untrustworthy and no one is really talking about that.

It is to that point why I am upset at Joe Kent's resignation. He was in position of influence and effectuating change. What good will he do now having resigned and relegated himself to cannon fodder for political pundits and critics?

Will Joe have a moral conflict when, God forbid, more Americans are harmed in the Homeland because the other principal advisors did not take threat assessments serious?

We need people with the courage to dissent while in the fight, to be the change they want to see.
